Construction Site AccidentsThe men and women who build our homes, office buildings and other structures are faced with life-threatening dangers on a daily basis. In a matter of seconds, a workplace accident can destroy a construction worker’s ability to work and place him and his family in financial peril. For over 40 years, we have represented catastrophically injured construction workers and have achieved verdicts and settlements that have given them the financial wherewithal to rebuild their lives. While governmental entities such as OSHA are supposed to ensure workplace safety, their efforts are not sufficient. Also, changes in the law have made it increasingly difficult to pursue construction accident cases. Many lawyers now consider these cases to be impossible to win. However, our firm has been at the forefront of developing innovative ways of dealing with these changes and successfully pursuing these cases. Our expertise is reflected in an article that Roger Booth wrote for the 2006 issue of the Advocate, the publication of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. |
